Context of COVID-19

Following the measures decreed by the government of Quebec to stop the progression of COVID-19, the Secretariat for International Adoption (SAI) has implemented certain measures.

SAI staff are currently engaged in essential activities and are supporting the health network.

In this context, the usual response time for web requests cannot be respected. For general requests for information or for searches into origins, these requests will be processed according to our capacities. If your situation is urgent, please contact us at 514-873-5226.

International adoption raises many questions. However, an initial phone conversation often makes it possible to answer them.

Filing a complaint against a certified body

To file a complaint against a certified body or express your dissatisfaction with its services, contact the SAI.

You need to speak with the person responsible for processing complaints, whether by phone, email or mail.
